Condition Rating Guide
Our clubs are rated on a scale from 1-5, this rating takes into account the quality of the head, shaft and grip. For details on each clubs condition score please refer to the below guide (please note we do not purchase/sell clubs with a score of 1/5).
5/5 (brand new/unused)
- This club or set is brand new.
- The head is still sealed in the original manufacturer's shrink wrap.
- Unless otherwise mentioned in the additional notes, the club shows no signs of use, including the shaft and grip.
4/5 (excellent condition)
- A 4/5 grade indicates a club or set that is nearly flawless.
- The crown, back, and top of the club show no visible marks.
- Any marks on the face are barely noticeable.
- The shaft may show very light marks but no scratches or wear spots.
- The grip is in near-new condition.
3/5 (very good/good condition)
- 3/5 rated golf clubs and sets are still among the highest quality pre-owned equipment.
- This club may have light marks on the crown and visible ball impact marks on the face.
- No sky marks are visible on drivers, fairways, or hybrids.
- The back and sole are in excellent condition, with only minor marks, if any.
- The shaft may show very light scratches or wear marks.
- The grip is still in great condition, feeling tacky and firm.
2/5 (fair condition)
- 2/5 is a lower rating but still represents a perfectly usable golf club, offering great value.
- This club or set has seen above-average use, with visible marks on the crown, face, and back of the club head.
- There may be chips in the paintwork on drivers, fairways, and hybrids, as well as minor dings on the sole of irons and wedges.
- Graphite shafts may show signs of wear, but no bag rub marks greater than 1 cm and no depressions.
- The grip is still fully usable, though it may have lost some of its tackiness.
- The club's performance is not impacted by its condition.
